State Treasurer Brian K. Krolicki announced today that a majority of those voting for the State Quarter chose "Morning in Nevada," the quarter design with three galloping wild horses, sagebrush along the bottom of the quarter, a sur rising behind snow-capped mountains, with the State's nickname "The Silver State."

Nevada had a couple of good designs to choose from IMO. I'm glad to see different types of wildlife being chosen.
And they're wild horses not "quarter" horses!

It will be interesting to see if the Governor honors the vote. In the end he has the only vote that counts. Personally the BigHorn Sheep was my favorite but anything without a state outline is a blessing.
