As an odd question: Does anyone have any of these curious fusions of numismatics and cryptocurrency?

I find the idea (theoretically) fascinating. If you think about it, their value is derived from the work is takes to solve difficult mathematical problems by brute force and is stored on a physical token as a secret. It has value as a token, but it's value can escape if the sticker is pulled off and the secret revealed, and at that point it's value flies back onto the Internet, leaving the coin as an "empty shell" behind.

I also find the idea (theoretically) horrifying as their worth is literally based upon nothing but an idea. :-)

Still, coins in any context are neat.

I was referring to the ones by Casascius with the holographic stickers on them.
