I would spend it too It's 4 digit radar, common enough to start with and it's condition is too poor to make it worth holding onto.

Hold it until you find a better one. Dealers have a tough time selling 3 digit radars in choice uncirculated as it is, and that's the affordable ones. It's neat to have, but spend it once you get a binary, as they are much tougher to find in circulation. Many dealers buy bricks, knowing beforehand exactly which notes they contain.

looks like I better put this in my " hold it for now " bucket. thanks for the input.
Libertad, I've heard the term binary but don't recall what it means. Is it a radar with just 2 numbers or something like that?

A binary note is one that has two different digits in the serial #. Some also say that the serial # will just have zeros and ones in it.

I found a $20 radar note from 2006 and kept it. My local guy said that its worth holding onto for a long term thing. They arent really worth anything now but in 30years it will fetch something. I almost just spent it because I didnt really care to hold onto it but then I thought, hey, I got stuff in the safe anyways, whats 1 more little note.

Samsnate:

There are so many radars available out there, so unless your note has other features making it rare, I doubt it will fetch much more value in 30 years(considering the inflation).

But hey I'm not trying to stop you from holding onto it and as you said, it's just one more little note.
