I bought a batch of eastern ants. recently. They are all generally common types but in decent shape with many retaining most or all of their silvering. I thought I would share one of the better examples with you.

Diocletian Antoninianus
Obv:â€" IMP C C VAL DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG, Radiate draped and cuirassed bust right
Rev:â€" IOVI CONSERVATORI AVGG, Juipiter standing left sceptre, presenting Victory on globe to Emperor who is standing right holding parazonium or sceptre
Minted in Antioch (A // XXI).
Reference:â€" RIC V Pt. 2 325

Diocletian,-Jupiter-From-Antioch

Nice coin, I've been buying a lot of these lately. I think they are an interesting coin type, but under rated by most collectors.

I have bought a few (too many actually) too.

I also think that they are under-rated.

From the same issue but different workshop to the one above:-

Diocletian,-Jupiter-From-Antioch

Virtually fully silvered with very little wear. A well executed, crisp portrait.
