I live just about 20 minutes away from Kirtland and don't know to much about their currency. I was hoping to get a history lesson from anyone here. All I know is before the Mormons moved to Utah they used to live here in Kirtland Ohio during the 1830's Did they make coin currency as well? why did they start their own currency? why did they stop? I find it interesting.
Also if by chance you have any bills in your collection I'd love to see some pics!
