Help With1983-90, Ghost Date Lincoln Cents-Value?rarity?

crystalannet New Member United States 5 Posts	Posted 10/06/2012 12:10 am I have found some 1980's & 1990 lincoln cents with what I believe is called "ghost date" doubling. I am new to coin collecting and am facinated by these variety. Are they rare & what possible value do they have? Thank you Report this Post to the Staff

The ghost of lincoln sometimes appears on the reverse and ghosts of the wheats on the front. Some of these are very interesting and collectible. Value is not much. The mirrored/tracing reflection of the doubling on the date is neat to look at, I found my first cent like this when I was young & was fascinated by it. Report this Post to the Staff
