1940 Penny With Doubled (Repunched?) 40 And Da In Canada

My sister actually found this one for me. (in the middle of the road, lucky it didn't get run over!) It is my first coin with doubling of any kind on it. I am wondering if this is a repunched 40 or just Machine Doubling. Also, did the mint ever repunch anything other than dates on coins?

Nice find CanadianCollector. I noticed doubling on the bottom of the right leaf too...Nice one fore sure.

I am using a Fujifilm finepix f50 with a small light. I put the coin on a piece of white paper, then put the light overhead and put the camera between the light and the coin. I will post a photo of the setup later.

Sorry it took so long. Here is a photo of the setup I use to take photos. I put the camera right below the light and the coins go on the paper
