While I have not seen the book, I do note the article credits someone we know here as co-authoring a section. I must admit that I find it an interesting choice that it covers gold and bronze with no mention of silver. I trust this interesting choice is explained in the first few pages. Book authors often make choices that elude my understanding. I recall more than once butting heads with friends working on books that assumed the reader knew a lot more about the subject than I believed to be reasonable so the books ended up a bit harder to follow than necessary. Scholarly books always present the difficulty of needing to fall at a level not completely over the readers' heads but not so simple that many of them could have written the thing.

Thanks for the honor. It exists; I just don't have one. I once received an email from a collector who told me that he printed out my entire website and put it in a binder for reference. That would be about 300 pages, I believe. I was honored but a bit shocked considering the price of paper and ink. I am a great fan of softcopy books especially ones that can be searched electronically. I wish I had my whole numismatic library in that format so I could carry it with me to coin shows.

That's pretty cool about that Faustina I book. I might get one later, maybe.

As far as taking your electronic library with you. I have a laptop that I am setting up for the purpose of going to a coin show later on. You can find a Wifi spot or use a 3G or 4G phone and tether the connection to your laptop, either way.

I have no clue if laptops are allowed at coin shows or not. I have yet to go to one.
