The Credit Suisse Swiss kilo bar from Europe is right up there with Engelhard..... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-Kilo-999-...60751611189&I know of one of these local that I can get for maybe 1100, I know for 1200 as they are asking 1250. I had no idea how rare they are and valuable.... I checked Provident as I recall a similar style kilo bar there which lists over 2k AND they are always out of it.... So considering this one above listed at like 3600 with like 10 offers tells me this piece may bring 2500, maybe even 3K one day.... Seems like a no-brainer pickup, what you all think? With a Buy It Now price of $3,599.99, that's something like 3 times current spot value, isn't it?
Ouch!

You're saying for $1100-1200 you can buy a similar bar to the linked one listed on ebay for $3600. Price sounds decent, if you.. A) Are confident that you can flip the bar for a good profit now B) Think the bar is cool C) Think that cost is worth another Kilo in your stack. ... then go for it.

I would say be careful trying to judge a value from the amount of offers. For all we know a bunch of different people offered spot for it. But it does look just like the one on APMEX listed above

Yeah after seeing that one at APMEX for just over 1300 I am not thinking it is as a golden deal as I hoped for, but still a solid price for solid high end silver.... MPmedia tough question, probably cause I just like cool silver bars and more so the audience that chases after them, which always makes me feel like safe investment and quick easy flip if I should need emergency money.... In the end, it is just 32.15 more oz. of silver, nothing more or less, even though Pamp silver is like the Ferrari of silver, just is what it is. Bars wont ever have the eye appeal of a reverse proof eagle, just is a different form of collecting in the end.......

The bar in question at the local dealer may be a bit different as well then the two examples above from me and CBN, as I am going on memory. It seemed like it had more rounded edges and was a more modern version perhaps, I will have to inquire further....
Really doubt that would effect value much either way anyhow....

I know that there are two different versions of credit Suisse kilo bars, one is a struck model like this one the other is a poured version that looks a bit more rustic. Even APMEX is a bit high, sometimes you'll see then on the smaller PM websites for $2 - $2.50 over. That seller is tripping, If I'm not mistaken he has had that kilo up for quite a while.
