So in another post John was telling me about these SOI bills, and I found this in 2000$ of 20$s I got this week. To bad about the fold.

PS. The bank is one where I cash in half dollars, the one guy likes to give me back all 20's, I run them down the road and get more of my halves, but I do look through them before recashing. Most of the time they are all new stuck together, to bad that wasnt the case here with the star notes.

If I remember right the 2006 SOI's are the ones to collect not the 2009. But yours is a star note. How big a run for it? If more then 640,000 I don't think I would keep it.IMHO.

EDIT: Are you sure it's an SOI? The SN looks small.

In an effort to crank out currency on a more massive scale a 50 note sheet SOI press was built. The thought that the more we devalue our currency makes it more collectible is ironic.

Hey John, the run is 640,000. On us paper money info it says printed on SOI for the original note with an A where the star is, but they dont have star notes listed. I will look closer when I get a chance to see if its soi.

I found this info http://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/f2009_v.html

And this http://www.uspapermoney.info/general/soi.html

You can tell an SOI note from a non SOI note by the large plate number.
