I think its a provencial. All I know is it is 29mm, and supposed to be a Judeae City Coin. Closest thing I find is on with Macrinus - 217-218 AD - Bronze AE 29 - Laodicea ad Mare, Syria. But not quite.

I don't know for sure, but I think it may be Caracalla from Pisidia or Patrai. I'll do more research.

I found another coin with the same reverse that was struck at Laodiceia ad Mare, Syria. The obverse is not a match, but take a look at the reverse: http://www.acsearch.info/record.html?id=494603

I feel fairly confident that your coin is Caracalla and most probably struck at the above city. However, I do not have the exact reference for you. Sorry.

I have one and have seen several of the Laodicea Macrinus but this is the first matching Caracalla I recall. It is a decent coin.
