Hi guys

Take a look at this 1975 dollar (on the right) and the partial collar as compared to what I saw on another web site and let me know if I am not looking at the right idea...?

I'll be honest, I don't know, wert, but you also see the same 2 "square edge/bevelled edge" types on the 1977 nickel dollar as well -- I haven't checked enough other dollars to see if the 2 types are seen in the same year in other years though.

Not a partial collar error.Here's a nice example of one from an earlier discussion.

Basically, what you have is a 'weak strike' by the third die, the collar die. It is commonly found on 1974, 1975 and 1977 dollars.
