Can someone help me identify my first ancient? I have no idea what I bought today. The people I bought it from said someone in Isreal had dug up a lot ancients of them and sent them all in and when they got them they were still covered in dirt. The dealer is a well-known dealer who wouldn't lie about something like that. Thanks.

This coin is not technically "ancient"; the language on it is a relatively modern form of Arabic. It's probably a small copper fals from Mamluk Egypt.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

Oh. Thanks for the information. Is there anything else you could tell me about it?
