As part of the recent Ike hoard I picked up, I have a number of clashed coins. I know Morgan VAMS pretty well but no Ikes. Welcome any opinions on these.

The first is a 1971-D "Peg Leg" with double talon head.

The second is a 1971-D Talon head with a very strong reverse double clash across the Moon below the Eagle.

coin 1. Obverse: Early Die State:
PegLeg = yes,
Very Strong Double talon Head = Yes
Clipped "E" = Yes

Reverse: Possible Light Moon Line Clash between "R" of dollar and lower right hand Star.
Possible Jaw Line die clash at 5 o'clock and 4 o'clock next to Earth
Tough to tell from photos, much easier to tell if you can
wobble the coin in hand.

Coin 2. Obverse: Late die State
Very Strong talon head = Yes,
some sort of possible Clash in front of Eye looks triangular ?

Reverse: Can not make out

Quote:

If you could give me an arrow pointing at what you are seeing it might help me out.
I do see a lot of polishing along the right side of the
reverse

All and all two very nice Ike Variety Coins Congratulations
