1880-O Morgan Possible Small O?

I'm looking at my Morgan and it looks to have a smaller o then normal, has anyone heard of this before?

1880-O's have a "small O." It's noticeably circular at the outside - the inner opening is sort of a rounded rectangle - but the hallmark is that very circular outside.

They're not necessarily rare, but less-frequent than the "regular" oval O's.

I found info stating it was 80 stamped over 79, not sure if mine is
