Gordian III AE Sestertius, RIC 269a, Cohen 136 Gordian III Ð- Sestertius. Rome, 240 AD. IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG, laureate, draped & cuirassed bust right / LIBERALITAS AVG II S-C, Liberalitas standing left holding coin counter & cornucopiae. coin 3.  Caracalla, AE27 of Hadrianopolis, Thrace.AVT K M AVR CE ANTWNEINOC , laureate head right / ADRIANOPOLEITWN, Homonoia standing right by altar, holding patera and cornucopiaecoin 4.   Diva Faustina I AE As. DIVA FAVSTINA,draped bust right / PIET AVG,SC below altar with closed doors RIC 1191Acoin 5.  Faustina I AE Sestertius. DIVA FAVSTINA, draped bust right, hair waved and coiled on top of head / AETERNITAS S-C, Ceres, veiled, standing left holding corn-ears & torch.coin 6.  SYRIA, Cyrrhestica. Hieropolis. Philip II. C CЄOVHP[OC], laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing on garlanded altar, head and tail right, with wings folded, holding wreath in beak; signum on either side, ЄT CЄI (date) in exergue. t0rress: I am envious that you are able to search for these! There were no ancient civilisations Australia. The best I can hope for with a metal detector is to find gold nuggets.
I just love the challenge of identifying ancient coins with little remaining information on them!. Unfortunately for me, my source for such coins is in dealers' junk boxes.

We'll, it is legal to sell a piece of tissue paper for as much as you want and add in a free ancient!
I also love coins with providence, as my first ancient will show (I will post tonight)

I don't really know but isn't there a permit to sell? I've seen more than a few people from Bulgaria selling coins. Must be a way to make it legal.

i asked 2 sellers of ancient coin from Bulgaria in ebay,one is in Germany the other one is in France.I have friend who was selling coins in ebay and he send the coins to his friend in Macedonia with one company in Bulgaria ( they cant open the thing that you selling) so he send it to him and he ships it to UK,Germany and USA.Its hard,but from Bulgaria direct to USA or UK I think it is not possible
