Ordinary olympic 50p coins can still be found circulating in change, although they seem to be disappearing now. Uncirculated ones until recently I saw adverstised still in their packaging aroung the £3 mark.

If this is a genuine clipped coin, it may be worth putting it on ebay around that as a start value and see how it goes.

Just when you put it up on ebay, try to get large and in-focus (to see the details) picture so that ebay's mouseover to view larger picture will kick in. Nothing I hate more (and nothing I pass up more due to it) than fuzzy pictures or pictures in which I need to see it larger and can't. (Especially errors like this, prospective buyers will need to see the coin, namely the clipped area, in high enough detail to be able to determine for themselves if it is worth the risk of bidding)
