just carl Bedrock of the Community United States 20753 Posts	Posted 10/23/2012 10:40 am That raised lumpiness on the right side is so common with Cents in the 80's. At one time I started to collect them as a Mint error and stopped when I found that almost all of the ones in the 80's looked like that. That lumpiness is sometimes on the right, sometimes on the left and sometimes all the way around. Same with the almost doubling on the rim at the left. Lots of explanations for that have been posted in the past. Report this Post to the Staff
