I have recently purchased The CherryPickers Guide, Volumn 1 and 2,. My question is, : How does one find those wacked out errors? I have just been learning the millions of Varieties that are purposely put there, I get those in roll hunting, How do I go about stumbling upon the crazy mint errors unless I buy them? And then that is someone else making the buck off me.

You will find a lot more varieties then errors roll searching. The errors you find roll searching will be minor errors. To find major errors you will have to buy truly unsearched bags of coins and look at flea markets and estate sales, pawn shops places like that. Good luck on your hunt.

There's little chances that you will find errors in the higher denomination from roll searching, as John1 mentioned check those places and even in coin shows, some dealers simply aren't educated with errors and varieties. I would get a good loupe!
