I need your opinion 1935-A $1 "NORTH AFRICA PMG 63EPQ RARE F-C BLOCK Can you look at the note and give me your opinion on the note and what you think the price should go for. It is a rare F-C Block. It looks like the top of the note has been cut....I might be wrong. http://www.ebay.com/itm/FR-2306-193...em460795abb8Thank again, bobbart Edited by bobbart 10/23/2012 3:34 pm

Bobbart, With all due respect.... GR a few posts ago suggested YOU BUY A BOOK. YOU keep posting notes to ebay auctions (LINKS in particular) and asking of the value. I question your motives?
IF you have money to waste away..... go ahead and KNOCK yourself out and stop wasting other people's time and effort.

I agree, Buy some books on currency, learn to help yourself. It's ok once in awhile but it's getting to be a habit, like we're your personal advisers. And it seems that most times you don't take the advice anyway, it's starting to get old. How bout you put us on your pay roll. Bill Collector

The FC block is the shortest run -- 12,000 notes. Since this post has turned into an advice column, here are my Two Cents. None of the blocks for the North Africa or Hawaii series are so rare that you have to buy the first one you see. There are enough out there in high grades for all the blocks and they appear quite frequently at auction. Take some time, learn about the different series and track the sales history for the notes over the next 3-6 months. That will give you a sense of the market. Establish your price range based on the sales history you have been tracking and buy accordingly.

Very, Very, good advice, but it seems that this guy doesn't want to do his own home work. Like Ceylon62 said: "YOU keep posting notes to ebay auctions (LINKS in particular) and asking of the value. If he bought even a few of the notes he's ask about he sure should have enough money to buy some good books on currency collecting. Bill Collector

Hi Nickelman, Something like that, or to showcase it for a few friends. He seems to be full of questions, but when I asked him a question he calmed up and ignored the question. Bill Collector
