So this would be a mechanical double die instead
of a collectible "doubled die", is that correct?
I searched the net for a 1944 DD/double die and didn't
find anything. Does that mean this coin was mechanically
doubled so much that's it isn't mentioned or, is this
a rare damaged coin, even if a mechanical DD and maybe
worth something to an error collector?
