A larger image may help. So far, I don't recognize the coin.

Really need to see a larger picture. From what I can tell on one side is a cross and the letters IC XC which was used on coins during the Byzantine period and is Greek for Jesus Christ.

other side is long cross in middle w/ letter IC''XC

Your pictures are still way too small, but it appears Doucet was able to find a match to your coin. I've never seem this type before, nice find.

Not being an expert at anything. I don't think the coin is ancient, but it is very old maybe a Medieval Gold Ducet c. 1200-1500 AD or a fraction of. You might want to try the modern world coin guys. The cross on the obverse I have never seen appear in Antiquity. Maybe some others will chime in
