They are very nice silver coins that are reasonably priced. And, they have low mintage numbers that should interest investors.

1819 Brass Shilling. I'm not sure if it's a contemporary counterfeit or a more modern forgery. Would appreciate feedback.

Definitely a contemporary forgery. They are quite common, despite the fact that at the time the punishment for producing these could be hanging, or even worse, transportation to Australia! (Joke - I love Oz.) They are mildly collectable but make very little money on the market.
