I don't have any recent acquisitions for GB coinage, but here are some of my older ones.

Edward II 1307-1327 - Edward is an odd looking dude.

An ebay fellow I bought a roman sestertius off had these for only £1 each - couldn't turn it down.

Mint red 1920 farthing:

A '1760s halfpenny' which is actually William III, 169*:

For the curious, here's the sestertius, found in the UK (maybe that counts?) but minted in Rome:

Well, I managed to squeeze in a last coin purchase for 2018! Shilling of Charles I, struck at the Tower (of London) mint. Spink 2794, Sharp F1/1. Tun mark dating it to between 14 Feb 1636- 8 May 1638.

All in all I'm happy; it's pretty round, toned, most of the detail is clear and it's full weight. (Seller's pic for now)

Happy New Year All!

Nice George V .500 Silver 1926 ME For anyone who wonders what that is all about?. On early examples of the 1926 coin the Initials on the truncation B.M it was placed near the centre . They modified the head on the 2nd obverse and the initials B.M were placed far right of the truncation.
