Are PVC flips ok for ancient coins?

No. PVC flips are bad for coins for long-term storage because they contain acidic plasticizers. Acid is bad for any coin, no matter how old it is.

However, it those old coins are made of PVC themselves, then it's OK. Otherwise PVC is just not good for any metal.

Didn't the ancient Inca's trade in PVC? Or maybe that was QVC?

Both are probably a bad idea.
