New 10 Oz Engelhard Pour...quick Question

The questions I had...it is still in the original plastic package. Should I keep it in the plastic to preserve its shine or take it out and enjoy its feel? I bid on an identical bar on ebay last nite, but it got to high for me at 420.... I ended up getting a silvertowne 10 for 375, still too high....
