Wow, I never thought that the 1964 Kennedy would be the last coin for me to obtain for my slabbed 7070 (not including the gold page), obviously overlooked! What does the CCF think about this beauty in comparison to PCGS?

Thanks for all of your comments during this endeavour!

Are those scratches on his neck and cheek on the coin itself or just on the capsule/2x2/holder/whatever?

It looks like they are on the slab because of the reflection on the coin it makes them look doubled. So, I would actually say most of them are on the slab.

I didn't limit myself to a 1964 for the 90% silver. I first thought of a silver proof but went to the 1998 Matte instead.

I was looking for a MS65+ 1964 Kennedy, but the asking prices are WAY above FMV. Then I found the OP coin.

I did not think of the other 90%'ers...oh well. You may be a "trend setter" on that train of thought muddler!

Depends on the depth of the scratch.
For me, MS 65 IF that scratch strong enough to be is visible at all directions.

I've been dying to see you completed 7070 set. Are you gonna show it off all in one place?

And this kennedy looks like a proof to me.

No, not all at one time, probably "one coin a day", or one series a day; cents, nickels, dimes, etc...

I don't think that a coin would warrant this grade if it was scratched;
