I wish there was an easier quote feature on this forum. Paralyse - I love the Barber's from slick to fully struck MS. They all have a story. Mike - You amaze me. You really have the Barber disease. A handful of years ago, you sold pretty much all of them and you are back picking up upgrades and doubles etc. I think it's great. jbuck - I have no doubt a CB thread would surpass the Barber thread. I bet it's probably dominated by half dollars that were rarely used in commerce compared to the Barber denominations. turingmach - Great coins. I love the proof. Nothing like seeing a solid strike on a Barber. My newest half. And my second 05-O in 25. These aren't easy to find.

Quote: I wish there was an easier quote feature on this forum. It is easy enough, especially since I use a macro extension to place the quote tags. How to QuoteIf you are using the Quick Reply box... 1. Type [quote]
2. Paste the text you want to quote
3. Then type [/quote] If you are using the Reply to Topic link... 1. Paste the text you want to quote 2. Highlight it 3. Then press the 'Insert Quote' button: So this... [qu ote]Quoted Text[/qu ote] Looks like this... Quote: Quoted Text

Turningmach: Love those two you posted. Especially the 98-S Half.
Log: Had to do something I enjoy since I retired 4 yrs ago. In the next few years, the whole group gets put up at auction. However, this time around, I'm not listening to some salesman pitch about selling off everything related to Barbers.
I plan on keeping my favorites and will revisit another auction in the future.
In the mean time, I continue to upgrade all four Barber coin series..

Beautiful dimes, Elbesaar. Love the toning on your 1908-D.
BTW, my P is MS64; the D is a MS63.

Back to the dirty pocket change that bought a bottle of hooch during the prohibition. :) Here is a date, that not less than 5 years ago was the only date that wasn't certified in VF25. I bought one at a show in 2010 that I thought would surely get 25 but alas it only got a 20. If I send this one in today, I would expect a 25. For some reason this date is a bugger in VF. Conditional rarity I guess. Right in my wheel house.
