Have the coin mention above with no mint mark under the facing and above the date. It's been circulated. is this common. I searched for missing mint marks and only found something about a 1975 bicentennial that had to mint mark, but there was only one. Thanks

In my Red Book it shows 1974 Eisenhower mintage 27,366,000.

I forgot to mention
there are also D and S minted coins that year. I have been told that the ones with no date were minted at Philadelphia.

Great info ruthjohn. As a side note for you and psf4x4, the forum here also has a coin facts section, and it answers the question that has been asked. If you reference the link below and scroll to the bottom of the coin fact table, you will see that the Philadelphia mint has no mint mark.
