Here is a coin I thought was Japaness, Korean, Chinese... 27 mm, reeded edge. Maybe, I suffer from Male Spot Blindness. Can a member Identify the country of this coin as per jpegs.

The circles in the characters are the clue. Neither formal Chinese nor the Katakana Japanese used on Japanese coins uses circles or oval shapes in the characters.

So that means this is a Korean coin. And given the lack of communist paraphernalia, it's South Korean. 100 won.
