to CCF as a new member.

I find this past CCF thread to be helpful when differentiating between MD ( Machine Doubling) and DD (hub doubling or double die).

Take a look at this URL reconsider your opinion regarding a MD vs. DD

I personally do not see DD in either case but every once in a while one may have a rare case of a DD exhibiting MD characteristics as the thread explains...

On a U.S. coin this would called MD.On the 1967 Canada cent they call it a Double date http://coinsandcanada.com/coins-pri...nt-1965-2012
