not bad! That raw one could grade pretty high as well!

It probably could, but I did not want to mess with sending it in when I could have a "sure thing"!

They're both phenomenal but that slabbed example is real nice. The raw piece might or might not get the Full Head designation, I would be happy with either.

I agree they are both very nice examples. Your type set is coming along quite nicely!

Beautiful! Quote: It probably could, but I did not want to mess with sending it in when I could have a "sure thing"! I was going to ask why you did not submit your raw SLQ.

...that has been the plan all along. I have an upgraded Seated half dime (star obverse) and a Type I Gold Dollar in the mail (somewhere) paid for by the duplicate coins.

Thank you for sharing out with old, in with new. But this Inquiring Mind would love to know what is happening to the old.

The raw coin wouldn't get FH details, but who cares about that anyway, the head is small and the coin has a full shield and everything else looks great with very nice luster.
The new one is, indeed, even better. I think it's under-graded based off the pictures alone. I see a 64. Wonderful coin

Most (if not all) of my "old" coins have been passed on to other collectors.
