It probably could, but I did not want to mess with sending it in when I could have a "sure thing"!

They're both phenomenal but that slabbed example is real nice. The raw piece might or might not get the Full Head designation, I would be happy with either.

...that has been the plan all along. I have an upgraded Seated half dime (star obverse) and a Type I Gold Dollar in the mail (somewhere) paid for by the duplicate coins. |

The raw coin wouldn't get FH details, but who cares about that anyway, the head is small and the coin has a full shield and everything else looks great with very nice luster.
The new one is, indeed, even better. I think it's under-graded based off the pictures alone. I see a 64. Wonderful coin

Most (if not all) of my "old" coins have been passed on to other collectors.
