Recently many CCCS certified coins in hard holders have been selling on ebay and lots of them have been cross-graded by ICCS after the coin was placed in the CCCS holder. I haven't seen one yet where the ICCS grade was not the same as the CCCS grade. Now, THAT is CONSISTANCY!

Easy money for ICCS if they just default to CCCS grades!

Circulated coins? Mint state coins? What strikes (business, PL, SP, PF)?

Maybe a blind test is in order...

About a hundred have appeared on ebay lately, most being sold by Colonial Acres.May not be a matter of consistent grading, those that ICCS graded higher may well be in ICCS holders, those that ICCS graded lower won't be mentioned.

I see this as a win-win marketing technique, you get a nice hard holder,an easy to sell ICCS grade, and a second opinion, all for less than the price of putting them in PCGS slabs.

(why isn't there a tongue in cheek smilie)

Yes, I should have thought a little more before posting. Actually it does show that CCCS is an equal is some respects. Any that ICCS gives a lower grade and then they don't include the cross grade in their listing.

Wish ICCS would get in the game with those hard slabs.

I don't mind the soft slabs too much. I just wish ICCS would get a website!
