i dont think the offset is large enough for this coin to be worth too much, maybe 20 bucks.

Yes, it is an off centre, but minor.
I don't think it has any important premium above face since there are many "good" 1999 off centres being traded.

I would still keep it. It is offset enough and as the mint starts to recall and melt the older style toonies errors like this will start to disappear into the smelter.

generally speaking with toonie offsets, if you can see daylight in between the core you will have a cool error but still a minor version.

I was selling several with gap at Nuphilex, 1996, 1998 and 1999... no real interest in them there...

It will be YEARS until the interest picks up.
It is easier to get rid of gramma bait than twoonies.

For me it was a huge surprise seing it selling, in MS 63, above 100.00 in 3 different venues. Being listed in the catalogue and in trends makes a difference. I imagine the 14 serrations 2010 will also increase in value.
But honestly, I can't understand why.
There are at least 5 million German planchets out there. On the other hand, I doubt there are more than 3000 gapped offcentres putting all years together. There are less offcentres than 1999 mules! I bought last week an uncirculated offcentre with gap for less than 1/3 of a mule.
Other twoonie varieties are just ignored.

TY
Remember though that the bigger dealers manipulate the price on mules . They are the ones that usually hold the quantity and therefore can set the price . In the gap twoonies , they don't hold the quantity and the price finds its own level .
