I have almost completed my collection of Modern Commemorative Dollar Proofs. They are all in there original government packaging. The only coins I need to complete my collection are from 1995 and 1996. These coins are very difficult to find in the original government packaging.

I was able to find a place that has every coin I need to complete my commemorative set. The only thing is that they do not have the original government packaging. You only get the coin in the original capsule from the mint.

Would I be losing some value on the set by not having all of the original government packaging for all of the coins?

not really imo...... it's all about the coin.

I would think you could find coins w the gov packing on ebay. New coins are placed every day.

Now is time for you to start looking at the old 50 cent commens, very nice designs and low mintages.

ebay is the place to find any commemorative in the original Govt. packaging. If your entire collection includes original packaging, then you should continue to find the ones you're missing.
