Hi everyone,
Newbie here. Would like suggestions on FREE image program I can download so I can scan coins directly into it. I have 'Visioneer OneTouch 9420'. I understand it won't compare to camera, but that's all I have to work with.
I have Windows XP. I'm really ignorant about transferring images, so program would have to be basic.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks,
Dan

probably one of the best FREE software packages about IMO is GIMP. I have this and it lets me create from a scanner. I also just use the software provided with the scanner.

I had a visioneer years ago but I don't remember what software I used besides what came with the scanner. Gimp is free but not 100% sure it will detect that scanner but its worth a try and if not you can come back and we can try to find something else that will work with it
