Av: ANToNIAVS PIVS AVG, not bearded portrait.
Reverse figure looks barbarous, but not sure. Googled nothing similar.
Thanks for any input.

antoninus pius avg; maybe Elagabalus?
Reverse a spooky kind of SPES?

Something like this Antioch coin:

I would say it's meant to be a Caracalla with Genius on reverse A fourrée (unofficial).

Thanks! Spes walking left, holding flower - thats probably the right description for reverse. Obverse is still very puzzling, despite the style very close to official issue.

monetanova's coin is a fourree, not an official issue, of Caracalla. For more about ancient imitations, see:

Maybe it's possible to locate the exact legend prototype (as I believe it's copied not fantasied) for reverse. I can see only these letters:
(..)V A RPA(..)

My guess is FVNDATOR PACIS a common reverse of Septimius but this is Caracalla and quite barbarous so anything goes.

Thanks, Doug. I'll post better photos after inspection in hands. Letters seem to be readable.
Also after seeing similarities ( official obverse and barbarous reverse) with this specimen - http://www.acsearch.info/record.html?id=226589 - I'm convinced that it is a barbarous imitation.
