Got a few questions here only started collecting a little while ago and was wondering what is the best method of storing my notes....is there a good brand of holder if so what is it and is there some sort of book I could display them easier in...any info and what you use and a site I could get them at would be helpful...thanks

I don't know how many notes you own (or plan to own), but as long as you store individual notes in Mylar sleeves you should be OK no matter where you decide to store them.

I recently picked up some albums for my small and large notes at Wizard Coin Supply:

I leave the notes within their individual sleeves and then insert the sleeves in the album pockets.

I only own a few 1$ silver certs nothing real expensive but I will definitely be obtaining one from each series and then try and afford the older funny backs and farther back than that if I can afford them...i would like to move on to 2$ and 5$ as well later on and as the budget is right...i usually only collect coins but got a little so called burned out with what I was collecting and wanted to get into a few notes and really like learning about the new history and some designs are just amazing to look at....what individual sleeves are you talking about that you use before it goes into the album...also which one do you prefer as far as album goes...the clear or the black...I think I might go with the clear so I can see the back of the note without taking it out...does that sound right?....i appreciate the feedback and also what individual sleeves are the best for notes...i have seen a few like the hard ones that almost look like are used for baseball cards and then the flimsy ones that are kind of liked how it would come if you got it graded...i think I might prefer the more flimsy ones that come with when you get it graded....is there a good brand I should buy (money is not a issue when it comes to protection)...once again thanks for any input

Currency sleeves are made of thick plastic (Mylar) that will not degrade or harm paper notes. You can buy them in packs of 100, like these:

Your local coin dealer can also probably sell you smaller quantities.

As for the album, I went with the clear pages for the reason you mentioned. I originally bought two separate albums (one for large notes and one for small notes) but ended up combining the pages into a single album:

I really like that idea of combining so you can keep same denomination together....and you have answered my question completely and now know what exactly I want ha....as far as how many sleeve/notes can fit into one album...i see that it comes with 12 pages which can hold 36 notes....is there room for more pages to be added? and if there is do you think that adding any that it will be to much or is that kind of a judgement call when I receive the album....btw I'm really liking those first 3 notes wow what beauties!

There is a limit to how many pages you can add, obviously. I've got 17 pages in the album so far and can probably fit 2 or 3 more comfortably. If necessary, though, I'll just go with "Volume II".
