I have several coins like this which I rated XF
The hairline is very clearly worn down some
Also the background behind the lettres is clearly of a better quality

August you know I depend on you for the gold coin grading !!

The coin looks at best low AU more than likely EF ,,

Is it common for auctions in this area to only post Pictures of one view of the coin ?

or do they think that is all that is necessisary since it is a slabbed example ?

Posting only one side has many reasons (about 25 % are onesided coins)

1) The other side is worse (like eg the nerves in the bottom leaves all gone on this coin which I suspect )

2) Simply avoiding the 10 eurocent ebay wants for the second pic

3) Simply supplying better pics by direct email on request

4) Using your direct email to make you offers on a later date or put you on a mailing list at a later date
If they find out you are trying to make a date collection ( which I don't) they will direct mail you first . Like the britisher who thougth I was doing Vrenelis by date

This is what I consider an high XF
Some wear on the hair
Full lustre behind the lettres
Incidently : at an exchange agent they both go for the same price
You buy 5 and one should be like this
