Are the colors significant (red, black and green)?
Do the spaces have any significance other than to separate the grouping of different colors?

Is it a quote? If it is, is it a president, or another famous person?

Moe - I have this solved, but I'm going to leave it for others.
I believe you attributed it to the wrong author. You should double check this.
Also, in the 8th line above, the green word has ZI in it, I believe you meant Z1.
Thanks for the puzzle :)

Quote: Also, in the 8th line above, the green word has ZI in it, I believe you meant Z1. jg86 does indeed have this correction true. I will ask the Mods to correct it in the original post. For now: Y6D1ZIV6 should actually be Y6D1Z1V6

Quote: Did you look into the quoter by chance? Yes, I did. And it appears the web site I sourced the quote from erroneously listed the quoter as someone else than the true one. ************************* NOTE *********************************The last line of the quote should be replaced with: H2C1V1O8P4J4Q9 K2W1R4L4M1 I2D3S4X6E3O5

Quote: Is there a reason for there being no two numbers/letters following each other? I.E.1e2y5g6c etc. Yes. The number identifies the type of letter and the letter identifies the sequence. (Does that help?)
