I found this strange think in Germany. I would like to know where it's from and what kind it is. And price, perhaps...

I think it's probably a copy/electrotype/modern imitation of the reverse of a gold ducat of 1612 of Pfalz (Electoral Pfalz).

I had a similar object which was a button, the design being cast from a 1/4 thaler of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, complete with the original coin's die crack !

Mine was made of lead or white metal and I gave it to a German museum.

Reverse of three (four? Can't make out if there are 3 or 4 Roman numeral ones) ducat of Elector Friedrich Von der Pfalz. As AVREA suggests, this should be a gold coin. Could this be the reverse face of an electrotype?
