This speaks to my Celtic ancestry with a strange, yet very pleasant vibration. I'm a believer in cell memory and these seem to spark mine. I just spent an interesting search on ebay to find Celtic coins can be pricy. I wonder what the percentage of fakes runs in this niche? At any rate, it's beautiful. Good for you.

I have one that I cannot identify. It seems to be a Channel-Island stater in billon (verdigris), measuring 2 cm in diameter and weighing 8 grams. That is considerable more than the figures I read for billon staters Can any collector throw light on the difference in weight? Michael
