I would say F-12.
However, if you could all explain to me why it should be a F-15, I WILL listen.
These are my specialty and, as such. I tend to under grade them a bit.
This "grade inflation" phenomenon of recent years leaves me baffled.

I might go F15 due to a little more definition on the lower leaves on the reverse and the leaves that make up the wreath.

I think that I understand what you mean, Duke.
After the "split band" in the bow comes the corn kernels. In my eyes.
BUT, veins showing in the maple and oak leaves is also a good place to take a closer look.
Many thanks.

I like to grade these coins myself before I read the responses to see how I compare to everyone else. My 1st reaction was F-12. The reverse does seem a little better but on my own grading scale the obverse always trumps the reverse.

Nice looking dime I am going to go against the flow and, based on looking at some slabbed comparables, say VF-25

I think this a good example of "split grading" in our hobby. I think it technically is a F-12/15. I also think it's "commercial grade" is VF-20; I agree with Fenton.
