Hello I just bought these 2 nationals and I was wondering on how I did and your comments on each? The Washington, D.C. Is in bad shape but I liked that it was dc and that it was more collectable.

Don't know too much on pricing for these, but I can say they're better than the non-existent ones I have!!

As long as they meet the criteria you have for your collection then you are good.

The first note is not a National but a Federal Reserve Bank Note originally printed for the 1933 Bank Holiday. They are fairly common and in that condition are worth little above face.

The Riggs note is also fairly common. Heritage results show at least a half dozen sold in the last two years in better condition than this one (at least Fine) for only a few dollars more.

I love the national bank notes....As stated above only the d.c. is a national bank note....The value of these notes is very location driven...In other words, Collectors pay more for notes that are issued from their town or state...Also bank size is very important, as is type of note...Condition is Important for these, but Rarity is more important....Nationals are confusing, complicated and More fun than most other notes....IMHO

Hello together,
I know only one National Currency charter number in which the name of the bank changed.
This is the 13044
Does anyone have any other charter where the name changed?
Here is my example.
