Any one know what this is or have seen one before? I not sure if this could be an amulet, board game piece, tourist trinket or ?

It looks like it is made of bronze (bunch of greens oxidization spots from copper alloy) It is 25mm and weight is 5.7 grams. There is a seam to indicate that this was made up from two pieces and put together.

It represents the aztec sun god with 16 numbers of one side and skull & bones with the compass directions N S E W on the other. Notice the bones point to NE, SE, SW & NW There are on the outer edge 16 points & 16 dots (Not sure what the number 16 means here)

Any ideas ?

At first I thought this may be a game piece but game pieces historically would be fairly simple (one flat surface type)

This has 2 steps up from the base surface and to me just too many details......

One's imagination can run wild with all the info on the net...For example the number 16..
Is it possible they could be referring to the 4 x 4 Magic Square (numbers used 1 - 16)?

It looks close to but (Not the same design) as the replica made with 24K gold from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

I would say it's a fantasy pies from local "body & soul" shop.

turtleOH... I'm thinking along those lines also and there's no great value here but it would be nice to find out when, where these were made..

I'm guessing this is a tourist curio, with a convenient hole to insert a cord and sell as a necklace.
The central figure roughly resembles the entity on the Aztec calendar stone, although their calendar used a cycle of 13--possibly changed to 16 because the former is considered 'unlucky' today. It's a thoroughly modern creation, probably made in the last 50 years.
