Was wondering if anyone had any ideas about the nature of this coin. Some doubling can be seen in LIBERTY on the obverse, and the reverse shows what appears to be melting of the copper layer, almost like wax. I'm inclined to think this is a mint issue, especially due to the doubling. However, others ideas welcome. Thanks.
