Moe145 Pillar of the Community United States 8904 Posts	Posted 02/07/2013 3:23 pm When Christian Golbrecht updated the Capped Bust half dollar design for the 1836 "reeded edge" coins (from the previous John Reich "lettered edge" design), he saw fit to simplify the design and delete the E PLURIBUS UNUM banner.
