I have a question regarding the commemorative halves (I do not have a Dansco 7070). Do they include modern commems as well?

CK, there is "a" spot for a Modern Dollar Commem.

4 March Commemorative 1983-Present Date

You could always add a blank Half Dollar Page to the album if you wanted.

@CoinsKelly

There are four positions for commemorative halves in the 7070, and I believe they will start to post on the 16th. There is only one Commemorative dollar spot in the album.

muddler, I don't use the actual album and I thought that the Commemorative Half Dollars were labeled as something other than "modern". I just saw the actual page and any "Commemorative Half Dollars" could be placed in those spots. Thanks for the info!

The 7070 album simply lists them as "Commemorative Half Dollars" with no reference to modern or not. When I first started filling my 7070 album, I stuck a bunch of modern commemoratives in those slots simply because they were easier (and cheaper) to obtain. Other members here eventually convinced me that it might be better to put classic commemoratives there instead, and as time and budget permitted I made the swap.

I don't think there is really a "right" or "wrong" way to do it, however -- just personal preference.

Both Classic and Modern Commemoratives will fit into the slots and as Generalissi-Moe of this thread, I declare ALL Commemorative Half Dollars are eligible for posting during the 4 days of Commemorative Half Dollars (16-19 February).

So it is written, so it shall be.
