I recently acquired this 1840-O half dollar, and I have determined that it would be a VF25. Just wanted to see if the experts would agree. Thanks for your help!

I agree with your grade, also with the uniform color I would say details cleaned.

VF25 sounds about right. Could get a details grade for being improperly dipped at one time. Can't say for sure, could possibly be market acceptable in the eyes of the TPGs.
