Yep, have insurance. Otherwise the CAT scan would have set me back $10,000 or so...

HippieOutcast,
No offense but I doubt a guy that buys $15K in silver a couple different times of year wouldn't have insurance.
That's why my wife works as a school teacher and doesn't stay home to take care of the kids, the insurance.

Well, if I didn't have insurance, I certainly wouldn't have bought silver while waiting in the ER...

Did you tell anyone about how your trip to the ER happened? "The price of silver fell...and so did I!" Did you intentionally want to buy FIVE THOUSAND dollars worth or did you "fat finger" FIVE HUNDRED? C'mon...it's okay, I have done that in the past.

Heh. It literally was a "trip" to the ER, since that's what got me there. Tripped over my own darn feet while going down the front stairs and discovered I can't fly after all.

I thought you were gonna say you tripped over a package of bullion on your porch and that is why you were in the ER... Hope you get better!

Barry... so sorry to hear of your tumble down the stairs... OUCH! Hope that you heal up quickly and fully. Not sure why someone would have to wait for a CAT scan before they can repair a break in the skin. Seems to me that these are separate issues and that a few stitches while waiting for the CAT machine to be available would be in order. It's not like they would have to undo the stitches to do a CAT scan, right? Anyway, thanks for the warning. I was JUST about to make a significant silver buy but will hold off for a bit, knowing that you have just made a buy and that silver IS now headed lower.
